Stick to cover between engagements. Enemy patrols scan wide open lanes first, so hugging walls buys you a second or two to line up a shot before they notice you're there.
Aim before you fire, not while you fire. Snapping into the aim stance first steadies your crosshair and cuts down on wasted rounds against alert soldiers.
Don't rush the objective marker. Clearing side pockets of resistance first stops you from getting flanked halfway through a firefight.
